When you take a close look at the items inside my refrigerator, you will notice that I do not have many sauces, salad dressings, dips, or other items in bottles, jars or containers. Generally speaking, these items are filled with fat, sugar and tend to be processed and they just take up space.
Depending on the day of the week I may have more or less vegetables but here are the mainstays inside my refrigerator. With these items I can whip up a great salad, add spice and flavor to dressings, steam vegetables, or make a juice. The goal by the end of each week it to eat all the vegetables so the fridge is empty and ready for a refill of fresh produce. I try to alternate the vegetables each week so I don't get in a rut and buy the same items all the time. Remember, variety is the spice of life!
