What constitutes a healthy kitchen?
A healthy kitchen is defined as a room in the house that contains the basic building blocks for creating healthy meals. It does not contain artificial sweeteners, processed foods, pre-packaged processed frozen foods, refined breads, grains, baked goods, white sugar, or unhealthy snacks. A kitchen should be used for nourishment of our bodies and minds, it should not contain food items that are inflammatory and promote disease.
Many people do not know how important their health is until they lose it. Then they realize that no amount of money is ever enough without good health, no job can be accomplished without good health, and no vacation can ever be enjoyed without good health. Once we lose our health we can lose everything.
Food choices that we make every day either lead us closer to health or to disease. People will tell me, I don't have the time to cook or prepare food and my response is; for everything in life there is a trade off. It is of no use to gain wealth but lose health simultaneously due to overwork.
Choosing to eat well every day brings us closer to health.
To assist you in creating a healthy kitchen I have listed the items in mine. Additionally I feel so strongly about nutrition and good health that I have created a cookbook with your health in mind!
